The earth is burning!

The earth is BURNING! The earth is ANGRY! The earth is CRYING!!
Can you hear it? Can you feel it?
Are you aware of it?

Whenever you turn around, you see
pollution.
Wherever you pass by, you see piles of waste.
Whatever you breathe, you breathe polluted air.
Why it is so?

They say, for development,
trees have to be cut down.
They say, for wealth, natural resources shall be drained.
They say, for industrial progress, chemical wastes shall end up in the river.
Who say so?

The earth is ours. It's ours care, ours to care, ours to protects and ours to love. But, why? Why is the earth still dying? Are we doing what we can to protect it?

Do you know that excessive emission of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) disrupt the carbon cycle and oxygen cycle as well as climate change? You know about it, but how much are you doing to maintain the ecosystem?

The idea of cutting down trees for the betterment of humankind sound noble but who is paying for the global-warming,melting of ice in the polar, greenhouse effect, destruction of natural habitat and loss of species?

Petroleum, timber, air, animal and even planet generate a huge amount of revenue that ensure the continuous developments of our country. These developments have increased our standard of living but it '
super' hazardous to our environment. Do you know that?

Have you ever seen the beauty of ocean habitats and wildlife? If you have, imagine it's all gone and replace by '
dead' land with no ocean habitats anymore. Can you imagine it?

Now, lets come back to a smaller picture, River. Rivers in Malaysia is so polluted that you would rather run 50km and gets yourself drench in sweat. Heard of Sungai Petani? It's worst. It's looks like a pool of mud in black and according to the locals there, people selling
'Ikan Bakar' by the river bank. Ewww...

Hazy days ahead ... The haze has been happening for days. This picture is take from Wangsa Maju LRT Station.

How sad ... Deforestation activities leave an ugly sight and the beauty of the nature is gone...forever.

Are we doing what we can to protect the earth?

We do no inherit the earth from our ancestor, we borrow it from our children.
