Meeting with the Creative Agency

Many of our team members knows that the directors have meeting every Tuesday and Thursday, and by the time we walk out from the meeting room the sky is no longer bright. We are safe to say that it is DARK out there.

We always have meeting in Ms Lim’s room or in any room available in V block. Every once a week we will meet up with the Creative Agency. You may wonder what we are discussing. Do we have that much to discuss until late in the evening? You will be surprise.

Let me show you the process of one of the meeting help between the organizers and the creative agency with the supervision of Ms Lim and Ms Serene which begin at 6.30pm. (Before that the organisers have meeting with Ms Lim from 3.30pm)

Now, before the meeting official begins the Advertising and Sponsorship Department has already begun their own meeting to discuss about sponsorship matter. Can you see how serious they are?

The meeting begun with the Director of Programming (Activities) explained to the Creative Agency about our decision to use one main concept for banner and bunting design. The globe with a plant in it (shown below) will be our event’s brand image whereby it will appear everywhere including letterhead, t-shirt, backdrop and even in this blog.




As there are so many differences in opinions in term of designs and the end is scatter all around, we decided to stick to one design (as shown below) whereby other items such as banner, bunting and letterhead will be based on that design for consistency.

They are smiling!! That means they are happy with our performance? Fat chance…


After that, the Creative Agency introduces the teaser ad, campaign ad, email banner, t-shirt, and so on to seek for approval. Here come the decision-making time. While we do the decision and necessary amendment, we always concern about members’ opinions. As the member might not like what we have decided, we have to think twice before making a decision for the decision we made affect the whole organising committee as a whole. Not to mention that the pressure is there.

Later, the Agency show us the story board of how the TVC will look like (Sorry can’t show it here). We have separated discussion after that to decide on the TVC. After much discussion, we meet up with the Agency again to inform them about their opinion and decision...

Soon after the all the decisions have been made, we go home!! Home sweet home!!! Home, here we come.
